HelpPair is a connection and marketing platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service, HelpPair does not perform the underlying work requested by customers. Participating providers are independent businesses and are responsible for their own services, pricing, estimates, scheduling, licensing, insurance, agreements and performance.
By accessing, browsing or using HelpPair, submitting a service request, creating an account or otherwise interacting with the HelpPair platform, you agree to these Terms of Use and any policies incorporated into them by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the platform.
You represent that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you use HelpPair on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
HelpPair provides technology, marketing, request-routing and marketplace functionality intended to help people seeking services connect with participating independent service businesses.
HelpPair may collect information about a requested service, including location, project description, timing, contact information and other details submitted by a customer.
HelpPair may use that information to categorize, organize, route, distribute or otherwise make requests available to participating service providers.
Service providers participating through HelpPair are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, representatives, partners or contractors of HelpPair solely because they participate in the marketplace.
Providers independently control matters relating to their business, including:
Customers are responsible for independently evaluating providers before hiring them.
When you submit a service request through HelpPair, you agree to provide information that is accurate and reasonably complete.
You authorize HelpPair to use the information you provide for purposes related to operating the marketplace, which may include processing, organizing and sharing appropriate request information with participating service businesses.
Submission of a request does not create a contract requiring you to hire any provider.
Similarly, HelpPair does not guarantee that any particular provider will accept, purchase, respond to or perform work relating to the request.
By providing a telephone number, email address or other contact information, you authorize HelpPair to contact you regarding your request, account, marketplace activity, support issues and related services.
Depending on the information you submit and the services requested, participating independent providers may also contact you regarding your request.
Communications may occur by telephone, email, text message or other available communication channels where legally permitted and consistent with applicable consent requirements.
Some HelpPair features may require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You agree not to share account credentials with unauthorized persons or attempt to use another user's account without permission.
HelpPair may suspend or restrict an account when necessary to protect the platform, customers, providers or other users.
You may not misuse HelpPair.
Prohibited conduct includes:
HelpPair may investigate suspected misuse and may restrict access when reasonably necessary.
HelpPair may display, transmit or otherwise use information supplied by participating businesses, including business names, contact information, service categories, coverage areas and other provider information.
Providers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
HelpPair does not guarantee that every provider representation is complete, current or accurate.
Customers should independently verify any information important to their hiring decision, including licensing, insurance, experience and qualifications where applicable.
Customers generally do not pay HelpPair simply to submit a service request unless a particular offering expressly states otherwise.
Providers may be charged for marketplace participation, leads, credits, packages or related services according to the pricing and terms presented to them.
Provider lead purchases and credit requests are subject to the applicable Provider Agreement and Lead Purchase & Credit Policy.
Provider pricing may vary by service category, geographic location, market conditions, availability or other factors.
