About HelpPair

Built to make finding help feel less complicated.

HelpPair is a service-request marketplace designed to create a clearer connection between people who need work done and independent service businesses ready to earn the opportunity.

Why we exist

The first step should not be the hardest part of the project.

Finding the right local service business can mean searching across websites, making repeated calls and explaining the same job again and again. At the same time, independent businesses spend significant time trying to find customers whose projects actually fit what they do.

HelpPair is being built around that gap. We collect useful project information, organize it around service type and location, and help connect the request with participating independent providers that may be relevant.

We are not trying to become the contractor doing every job. Our role is to make the introduction clearer, more useful and easier to navigate for both sides.

What guides us

A marketplace should earn trust through how it works.

We are building HelpPair around practical principles rather than oversized promises.

01 / CLARITY

Say what the platform does.

Customers should understand when they are using a marketplace and when they are dealing directly with an independent provider.

02 / RELEVANCE

Make every request more useful.

Service type, ZIP code, timing and project details help create a more relevant handoff than a name and phone number alone.

03 / CHOICE

Keep the decision with the customer.

A request is the beginning of a conversation—not an obligation to hire. Customers decide whether a provider, price and scope are right for them.

Built for both sides

A marketplace works only when it serves both sides.

A useful marketplace has to respect the customer looking for help and the local business trying to grow.

How the connection works

One request. A more organized next step.

The experience is designed to be straightforward from the beginning.

1

Describe the project

The customer provides the service, location, timing and project details needed to understand the request.

2

We organize the request

HelpPair can use category and service-area information to identify participating providers that may be relevant.

3

You choose what happens next

Providers remain independent businesses, and customers decide who to contact, compare and ultimately hire.

Professional home improvement project
The standard we are building toward

Useful connections without pretending every provider is the same.

Licensing, insurance, experience, pricing and availability can vary by service and market. HelpPair should communicate those differences accurately rather than using trust labels that have not been earned.

Transparent marketplace role

We explain that participating providers are independent businesses.

Accurate verification language

Specific screening or credential labels should appear only when that check has actually been completed and is current.

Customer due diligence

Customers should review estimates, contracts, credentials and provider information before hiring.

Provider independence

Providers control their own work, pricing, scheduling, contracts and service delivery.

Our role

A connection platform—not the company performing your service.

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific offering, HelpPair does not perform the underlying service. Participating providers are independent businesses responsible for their own estimates, pricing, scheduling, contracts, licensing, insurance, warranties, permits and work performed.

Submitting a request does not guarantee provider availability and does not obligate a customer to hire. Customers should independently evaluate any provider before entering into an agreement.
